Seven months later, I'm back!

Whew, life has been a ride in those seven months.  To make a very long story short, all the work that needed to be completed over the summer got done.  I also designed the school's website, which can be seen at http://cathedral-school.org .

I returned to Morehouse, but Fall 2003 would be my last semester there.  Funding and general disinterest in the way administration handled pertinent information are the two factors that drove me away.  I miss the friends I had out there (well over 100, never a dull moment), and I especially miss the ROTC fellas, but I'll get over it eventually.  I also miss the freedom of being able to do pretty much as I wished, but I'll take this shrouded stability before free insecurity any day.  I can say my skin got thicker because of my experiences there, particularly in Fall '03.  I'm probably a better person because of it.

Currently I'm enrolled at University of New Orleans.  Morehouse apparently doesn't want me to leave them, as they have not sent my final transcript a full two (almost three now) months after I declared that I would not be returning.  UNO has handled the situation pretty well; I say that with the self-approval that they haven't had a situation remotely close to mine (ie, where the previous college REFUSES to not only send the necessary materials, but not ever respond to phone calls AND emails).  Such is life.  I can only concentrate on this semester, which is going fairly well insofar.

Social life is yet another can of worms.  More on that later.

That is the most abridged version I've given of life since mid-July.  That is with good reason; I wouldn't want to bore you with the story of how I had to walk five miles to reclaim my possessions from a family an hour outside downtown Atlanta or how I had to stand watch every day for one week straight or how Morehouse waited until I finished getting paid (and spending) over the summer to tell me that I lost $4800 worth of money or... yeah.  You get the picture.
